Job description
Role overview
The OR Scheduler coordinates elective surgical bookings for the operating room, endoscopy, and anesthesia-only cases performed outside the operating room. This excludes labor and delivery at Women’s and Children’s as well as cath lab cases. The role also supports physicians and team members as needed, ensures clear communication, keeps the office environment organized and safe, and helps orient new employees.
Education
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Experience
Applicants must have at least one year of prior experience in a secretarial, reception, or customer service position. Experience in a medical setting is considered an advantage.
