OPT Recruiter (US IT Staffing)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven OPT Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recruiting talented OPT (Optional Practical Training) and CPT candidates for various specialized IT roles across the United States. Working during US business hours, you will serve as a crucial bridge between talented consultants and our diverse client requirements, ensuring a steady pipeline of skilled IT professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for OPT/CPT candidates, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding for US-based IT positions.
• Proactively identify and engage with technical talent using leading job boards, university connections, and social media platforms.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' technical aptitude, communication abilities, and suitability for client requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with US-based Account Managers and Sales teams to grasp evolving hiring needs and job specifications.
• Develop and maintain a strong network of OPT candidates to ensure a consistent flow of talent for current and future IT roles.
• Assist candidates with client interview scheduling, initial onboarding procedures, and coordinate with legal/HR for visa processing and compliance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, recruitment progress, and other relevant activities in the internal tracking system.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Technical Recruiter, with a focus on OPT/CPT recruitment within the US IT Staffing industry.
• A solid understanding of US immigration processes, including OPT, CPT, STEM extensions, and H-1B visas.
• Proficiency in using major US job portals such as Dice, LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, and Indeed, as well as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Ceipal.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with candidates.
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts (EST Zone: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST) and maintain high productivity and motivation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, permanent position located in Habsiguda, Hyderabad, India. The shift timings are aligned with the US Eastern Standard Time Zone (6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST).
