Operations Receptionist - Mercedes-Benz Melbourne

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Operations Receptionist to serve as the primary contact for the Autobody and Van Service Centre at Mercedes-Benz Melbourne. Your working hours will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. This role is vital in providing a seamless, professional, and customer-oriented experience during accident repairs and commercial vehicle servicing.

Key Duties

• Promptly answer and manage all incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy.
• Handle inquiries related to services, repairs, and accidents; ensure customers are directed to the correct personnel.
• Coordinate booking schedules and support daily workflow between the autobody and van service departments.
• Utilize the iBody system to oversee repair jobs, manage documentation, and track job progress efficiently.
• Assist in administrative tasks including preparation of job cards, repair paperwork, and internal communications.
• Collaborate closely with service advisors, estimators, and workshop staff to streamline operations.
• Welcome customers and visitors with a polished and friendly reception.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional standards of the reception area.
• Take and promptly deliver accurate messages.

Candidate Qualifications

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance along with a confident and courteous telephone manner.
• Experience handling a busy multi-line telephone system.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communications.
• Prior experience in automotive service, autobody, or repair center reception is highly valued.
• Familiarity with the iBody system is preferred but not mandatory.
