About the Role
The Operations Manager / Director / Head of Operations position entails leading and managing day-to-day business functions to maximize operational efficiency, streamline productivity, and boost overall organizational success. This leadership role is responsible for devising and executing operational strategies, enhancing business processes, managing teams across departments, and fostering ongoing improvements to support growth and achieve corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations across multiple departments to ensure smooth functioning
- Create and roll out business plans and operational strategies aligned with company goals
- Track and evaluate operational performance to meet or exceed objectives
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and operational best practices
- Ensure optimal allocation and utilization of resources within the organization
- Assess current workflows to identify areas for process enhancements
- Lead initiatives focused on process improvement, automation, and business transformation
- Standardize procedures across departments to ensure consistency and quality
- Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence efforts
- Guide, mentor, and nurture the development of operations teams

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related fields
- Proven experience in operations management, business process improvement, strategic planning, project management, and team leadership
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle
- Experience with Business Intelligence platforms including Power BI and Tableau
- Familiar with CRM systems and Microsoft 365 suite
- Use of project management and collaboration tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Teams, and Google Workspace
Preferred Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
- Certified Manager (CM)
- Operations Management Certification
- Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
