The Role

We are urgently recruiting a hands-on Operations Manager to join our founding team and become the cornerstone of our expert data initiatives. This opportunity entails not inheriting an existing framework but designing and implementing the operational approach from the ground up. Your leadership will establish the core methodologies that guide program execution, ensuring stringent timelines and superior client outcomes as the company scales.

In this capacity, you will oversee daily operations to protect the valuable research time of our scientists, allowing them to focus on scientific innovation. This role offers ambitious individuals a defined trajectory towards senior operational leadership or a Chief of Staff position.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with detailed operational and logistical challenges, employing a proactive and hands-on approach.
• Take full ownership of project timelines from start to finish, ensuring all deadlines are met with precision.
• Develop and refine foundational operational systems including tracking tools, workflow processes, and documentation standards.
• Serve as the nexus for communication and coordination among founders, program leaders, and clients, proactively resolving obstacles and identifying risks to prevent crises.

Candidate Profile

• Educational background: Possession of a Bachelor's degree, with a strong preference for majors in Business or Operations; experience or education in life sciences is a significant advantage.
• Operational expertise: Demonstrated experience in consulting, finance, program management, or roles within startup operations is highly valued.
• Ownership and initiative: Highly organized with a responsive nature, you proactively complete tasks and ensure follow-through without requiring oversight.
• Adaptability and drive: Comfortable managing uncertainty and tight schedules, you exhibit a strong initiative and determination to accomplish objectives.
