Operations Manager - 12-Month Parental Leave Contract

About the Role

Seeking a dynamic Operations Manager for a 12-month maternity leave contract within NRMA Parks & Resorts. Based in Coolangatta's Support Office, the role entails overseeing a cluster of holiday parks and resorts along the NSW South Coast, involving frequent travel to support on-site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple parks and resorts to maximize commercial results and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Mentor and develop Park and Resort Managers to cultivate high-performing teams.
• Drive growth in revenue, profitability, and overall operational efficiency.
• Utilize data insights to inform strategic and operational decisions.
• Ensure top-tier guest experiences consistently across properties.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to fulfill organizational objectives.
• Lead problem-solving initiatives and promote continuous process improvements.
• Oversee safe, compliant, and effective operational practices.
• Actively travel across the NSW South Coast portfolio to deliver hands-on leadership.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership managing multiple sites within hotels, resorts, tourism, hospitality, or holiday park sectors.
• Strong commercial skills including budgeting, forecasting, and performance oversight.
• Experience coaching and influencing multi-location leadership teams.
• Familiarity with Food & Beverage, conferencing, or event operations is preferred.
• Proactive and solution-oriented with an ability to balance strategic planning and daily operations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the portfolio.
