Role Overview
This position suits an individual who excels in organizing, planning, and executing detailed operations. The Operations Executive will manage catering activities from order confirmation to event completion, coordinating with kitchen staff, delivery partners, and clients to ensure flawless event delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily catering order coordination from initial planning to execution.
- Develop production schedules, event run sheets, and related operational documentation.
- Organize delivery logistics and timing.
- Maintain communication with clients regarding operational details.
- Relay clear event requirements to kitchen and operations teams.
- Verify order precision prior to dispatch.
- Assist with daily café operations, including inventory management and procurement.
- Handle maintenance requests and operational issues as they arise.
- Maintain operational trackers, calendars, and documentation.
- Support the implementation and ongoing refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Create staff deployment rosters and coordinate workforce allocation for catering events.
- Ensure effective communication between office, kitchen, and service staff.
- Provide onsite assistance during catering setup and teardown as needed.
- Support team efforts at major corporate events.
- Occasionally contribute to deliveries or transportation tasks when necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptionally organized and attentive to detail.
- Capable of maintaining calm and multitasking during high-pressure situations.
- Proactive and efficient problem solver.
- Strong and clear communication abilities.
- Comfortable utilizing Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
Experience in food and beverage, catering, hospitality, or event management is advantageous. Holding a valid Class 3 driving license is beneficial but not mandatory.
