Job description
About the Employer
You’ll be joining a well-known business in household goods and building supplies that is steadily expanding its digital footprint. The company’s online channel has been running for 5 years, and this is a newly created position supporting its continued growth.
Role Overview
As the Web Sales and Inventory Executive, you will take ownership of the company’s online sales performance, order flow, and coordination across the wider business. The role blends commercial growth, operational oversight, and customer support in a fast-moving owner/director-led environment.
Key Duties
- Shape and deliver a clear plan to grow web sales, including finding new digital revenue opportunities, improving pricing and promotions, lifting conversion rates, and tracking acquisition performance.
- Manage the full online order journey, working with warehouse and logistics teams to keep processing efficient, inventory accurate, and fulfilment continuously improving.
- Handle customer queries directly, support escalated cases, and work through delivery or fulfilment issues while using feedback to improve the online experience.
- Coordinate with purchasing, stock control, and store teams so online demand is reflected in buying decisions, forecasting, stock availability, and promotional activity.
- Partner closely with the Head of Operations and senior leadership, present evidence-based recommendations, and take responsibility in a fast-changing setting.
Experience and Skills Required
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on e-commerce and web sales experience, along with the commercial confidence to drive growth. You should be comfortable managing day-to-day online operations, communicating clearly with customers and colleagues, and influencing decisions at senior level. A working knowledge of Google Analytics, sales data, and performance metrics is important, along with a proactive, process-led approach that helps maintain stock levels and timely fulfilment. Strong cross-functional collaboration and a mindset geared toward improvement and growth are essential.
Offer and Benefits
- Salary in the range of €35k to €47k, depending on experience.
- Bonus of £3k.
- Chance to lead the growth of an established online sales channel within a respected company.
- Close collaboration with senior leaders in a supportive environment.
- Scope for professional development in a commercially focused, fast-paced workplace.
- Pension contribution up to 5%, employee discount, phone allowance, and parking.
