Role overview

ThreatLocker is hiring ambitious Account Executives to help expand revenue across both its current customer base and new business opportunities in the UK market. This is an office-based role for someone who enjoys high activity, competitive targets, and building relationships in a fast-moving sales environment.

The position is based in the London / Thames Valley area, with office locations being considered near Paddington, Maidenhead, or Reading stations. It is a full-time role with no work-from-home option.

Its platform includes tools such as Application Allowlisting, Ringfencing™, Storage Control, Elevation Control, Endpoint Network Control, Configuration Management, and Operational Alert solutions. The company is helping drive a more secure approach to protecting servers and endpoints by reducing exposure to application vulnerabilities.

What the role involves

Account Executives will be responsible for generating new business, progressing opportunities through the pipeline, and closing sales. The role calls for strong resilience, consistent outbound activity, and the ability to perform well under pressure. This is not a low-intensity sales position; it is designed for people who are motivated to push hard and achieve strong results.

The job offers a base salary of £45,000 per year and an expected on-target earnings figure of £100,000. Commission is uncapped, and higher performance can lead to earnings well above the target amount. Employees may also qualify for a quarterly bonus if company goals are achieved. Additional commission is available on multi-year agreements.

While technology sales experience is useful, it is not essential. Candidates with strong customer-facing backgrounds in retail, hospitality, or service-based roles are encouraged to apply if they are ready to move into technology sales. The most important qualities are ambition, persistence, organization, and the ability to build trust quickly.

Travel and onboarding

This position includes travel as part of the job. The successful candidate must be willing to attend a two-week onboarding program at ThreatLocker’s headquarters in Orlando, Florida. Travel may also be required for trade shows, conferences, customer meetings, partner meetings, company offices, and other business events as needed. Required travel will be arranged and covered in line with company policy.

Interview process

Candidates should expect a phone pre-screen followed by technical in-person interviews.

Working conditions

The role is generally performed in an office setting, though travel to offices, customers, prospects, partners, trade shows, conferences, and other locations may be necessary. The position may occasionally involve standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, talking, hearing, and using the hands for handling or feeling objects and tools. The job may also require lifting or moving up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Additional requirements

A background check and drug or substance screening are required after a conditional offer is made. Employment will only continue if both checks return clear results. ThreatLocker also carries out random drug and substance testing roughly every 60 days under the same screening standards.
