About the Role

Furnishio is an Australian-based furniture brand specializing in sofas and furniture sold online across Sydney. We are seeking a dedicated Online Sales and Operations Assistant to support our daily customer inquiries received through Facebook, Instagram, and our website. This role is essential to our online operations, involving customer engagement, sales closure, content posting, and maintaining accurate records. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage customers via Facebook Messenger, Instagram DMs, and WhatsApp, responding within 15 minutes during working hours.
  • Qualify prospective buyers, suggest appropriate products, and utilize a structured sales script to finalize transactions.
  • Post advertisements and product listings on Facebook Marketplace with training support.
  • Follow up on potential leads through a systematic sequence and document results in Excel.
  • Manage orders by placing them through the supplier portal after confirming sales.
  • Generate and send customer invoices through Zoho Books post-sale.
  • Accurately record all expenses and financial transactions within Zoho Books promptly.
  • Maintain and update Excel-based stock inventories, including tracking new arrivals, sold units, and current stock.
  • Provide weekly sales and stock reports to the Sydney team.
  • Assist in posting reels, stories, and other product-related content on Instagram and Facebook.
  • Add new products on the website through Shopify with correct images, descriptions, and pricing.
  • Coordinate with the Sydney team to ensure smooth overall operations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proficient written English communication skills for daily interactions with Australian customers.
  • Possession of a good smartphone and reliable internet connectivity.
  • Availability to work during Sydney business hours: 2:30 AM to 1:30 PM IST, including a one-hour break.
  • Basic familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp platforms.
  • Comfort and proficiency with Excel and fundamental data entry tasks.
  • Organized, dependable, and willing to follow established instructions and protocols.
  • Previous experience in online sales, customer service, or e-commerce is an advantage but not mandatory.

Additional Information

  • This position is fully remote within India.
  • Work schedule: Tuesday to Sunday, six days per week.
  • Competitive monthly salary ranging from INR 25,000 to INR 30,000, depending on experience.
