What you will do

• Contribute to a project focused on improving the usefulness and quality of digital maps used globally.
• Carry out online research and review tasks in a web-based environment.
• Check data for accuracy, compare information across sources, and judge how relevant the information is.

You will be part of a large international AI contributor network that supports data collection, enhancement, training, translation, and localization work to help improve machine learning systems for major brands.

Eligibility and selection process

No previous work experience is needed for this position. Applicants must meet the basic project requirements and pass a standard selection process. The role is a long-term part-time assignment, and performance will be reviewed during the contract period.

Selection includes an open-book test and a short introductory assessment. Instructions and learning materials will be shared before the evaluation, and the test can be completed within the given timeframe at your convenience.

Working hours

The schedule is not fixed, but candidates must be able to work from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Indian Standard Time.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write in Odia, along with basic English proficiency.
• Must have lived in India for the last 5 years and be familiar with Indian business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural content.
• Comfort with following guidelines and carrying out online research using search engines, maps, and website-based sources.
• Capability to handle tasks involving maps, news, audio content, relevance checks, and other varied assignments.
• Access to a computer, daily broadband internet, and the software needed to complete the work.
