Job description

About the Role

We are seeking five Onboarding Specialists for a fully remote, six-month fixed-term contract position based in the UK and Ireland, with potential to extend or convert into a permanent role. This role involves managing a high-volume onboarding program for a large global workforce solutions company operating in over 50 countries.

The team currently handles approximately 700 active onboardings simultaneously, supporting a major enterprise client with rigorous standards and tight deadlines. The Onboarding Specialist will coordinate between clients, suppliers, workers, internal teams, and third-party background-check providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the complete onboarding process from start to finish for each candidate.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely progression of onboardings.
  • Review submitted documents and manage compliance and background check requirements.
  • Maintain accurate tracking systems and provide clear, confident updates to clients.
  • Proactively pursue outstanding actions to prevent delays.
  • Identify and escalate operational or compliance risks promptly.
  • Contribute to improving the onboarding process's efficiency and quality.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in onboarding, recruitment, HR operations, administration, or client service roles.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of competing tasks independently without supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to task completion.
  • Strong communication skills with clients, suppliers, and workers, including the ability to push back when timelines are unrealistic.
  • Right to work in the UK or Ireland and fluent in English.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Prior experience with contingent workforce, MSP, RPO, or recruitment programs.
  • Familiarity with compliance or background check processes.
  • Experience servicing large enterprise clients.

Additional Information

  • Position is fully remote for UK and Ireland candidates.
  • 6-month fixed-term contract initially, with the possibility of extension or permanent placement.
  • Salary range: £26,000 to £28,000 per year, with potential for higher compensation based on candidate suitability.
  • The selection process involves two interview stages: first with the Client Services Manager and then with the Head of Resourcing.
