Job description
Role overview
As an Onboarding Specialist, you’ll guide churches of every size through their initial setup and early use of Tithely. What you’ll do
- Support churches through a successful rollout of Tithely products, including Giving, Apps, ChMS, Sites, and related add-ons.
- Provide personalized, time-limited onboarding support to assigned accounts.
- Deliver a strong onboarding journey through video calls, phone conversations, email, inbox support, webinars, and other onboarding activities as needed.
- Work proactively with customers who may be at risk of leaving, with a focus on retention.
- Present and offer Premium Onboarding to customers who need continued guided support.
- Arrange smooth transitions into longer-term or lifetime care services for high-value accounts.
- Help drive successful launches as a core performance metric and consistently meet or surpass scorecard targets.
- Manage onboarding accounts efficiently using platforms such as HubSpot, Zendesk, and ChurnZero.

The right candidate communicates clearly, listens carefully, and adapts their message to the audience. You should be comfortable taking initiative, guiding customers toward success, and recommending practical solutions. - Previous customer success experience in a remote SaaS environment is preferred.
- Experience with church management systems, giving tools, or similar products is a plus.
- Exposure to retention work or selling premium services is preferred.
- Experience leading webinars or group training sessions is also valued.
Work setup and schedule
- This is a fully distributed, 100% remote role, though occasional travel may be needed 1 to 2 times per year.
- You’ll need a reliable workspace and high-speed internet.
- Applicants must be based in the United States and legally authorized to work full time in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available.
- The company can currently hire in AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MI, MN, MT, NC, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WV.
- Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
