About the Role
A leading manufacturing organization is searching for an Onboarding Specialist to ensure smooth integration and ongoing retention of new hires within their manufacturing setting. This position acts as the main point of contact for employees throughout their initial 90-day period, fostering a positive onboarding journey, identifying early concerns, and bridging communication between staff and plant management.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold top-tier standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethics.
- Perform routine follow-ups with newly onboarded employees during their first ninety days.
- Collect and analyze feedback concerning onboarding processes, training programs, work environment, and overall adjustment.
- Assess employee retention and comprehension of orientation materials via dialogues and additional follow-ups.
- Create and manage tracking systems to record employee input, issues, inquiries, and requests for assistance.
- Collaborate with department heads and support teams to promptly address employee concerns and necessary actions.
- Monitor patterns related to employee engagement, onboarding success, and staff retention metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related discipline preferred.
- Relevant experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, or Training roles.
- Preference for candidates with background in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
