Position Summary
Working as an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate at Walmart Canada offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your expertise in the retail sector. In this role, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and distributing online orders with a focus on maintaining accuracy and high-quality standards, while following strict safety and food hygiene protocols to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently retrieve and assemble customer orders from different temperature-controlled sections, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Carefully pack orders, paying close attention to product names, quantities, and correct product codes to prevent errors.
- Inspect all picked products to confirm they are of top quality—free from damage and fresh.
- Accurately document and label orders by correctly interpreting pick slips, packing information, and shipping labels.
- Maximize packing space utilization within totes while preserving product quality standards.
- Balance fulfillment duties with direct customer engagement, assisting with inquiries and resolving issues.
- Adhere rigorously to safety and food hygiene guidelines, keep work areas clean, promptly manage spills and debris, and ensure totes are clean before packing.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, performing required inspections prior to use, and exemplify behaviors aligning with company mission and values.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives, proposing enhancements to operations, productivity, customer satisfaction, safety, and quality standards; display flexibility to accommodate varying work assignments and daily delivery schedules.
Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.
Minimum Qualifications
