About the Role
Join Walmart Canada as an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate to enhance your retail and customer service skills. This position involves picking, packing, and delivering online orders with a high standard of quality and accuracy, while strictly following safety and food hygiene regulations to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately select and assemble orders across different temperature-controlled zones, emphasizing care and quality to guarantee timely delivery to customers.
- Pack orders meticulously, distinguishing between similarly named items, ensuring exact quantity and correct product coding.
- Inspect and select only high-quality products—avoiding damaged items and choosing the freshest options.
- Review and properly label all orders by accurately interpreting pick slips, packaging instructions, and shipping labels.
- Efficiently optimize packing space within totes to maximize capacity without compromising product quality.
- Balance order fulfillment duties with customer interactions, providing excellent service and resolving issues as they arise.
- Adhere rigorously to safety and food hygiene standards, maintain clean work areas, promptly clean spills and debris, and ensure cleaning of totes before packing.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, completing all pre-use safety inspections.
- Exemplify behaviors aligned with the organization's mission and core values.
- Engage in ongoing improvement efforts by suggesting enhancements to operational processes, productivity, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting workload and assignments to meet delivery schedules and customer needs.
Compensation
The starting hourly pay rate for this role is $16.15.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
