Position Overview
Join Walmart Canada as an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate to gain valuable experience in retail and customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing online orders with attention to quality, accuracy, and safety standards to ensure customers receive their products promptly and in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately selecting and assembling customer orders from multiple temperature-controlled areas to guarantee on-time deliveries.
- Carefully packing items with close attention to correct quantities, product codes, and distinguishing similarly named products.
- Ensuring only fresh and undamaged products are selected for orders.
- Properly labeling and documenting all orders by interpreting pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
- Maximizing space efficiency when packing totes while maintaining product quality standards.
- Balancing order fulfillment with positive customer interaction and issue resolution.
- Maintaining adherence to rigorous safety and food hygiene procedures, including work area cleanliness and proper handling of totes and equipment.
- Operating material handling equipment safely by conducting pre-use inspections and following safety protocols.
- Contributing to continuous improvement by recommending operational efficiencies, safety enhancements, and quality improvements.
- Demonstrating adaptability by adjusting work assignments to meet customer demands and daily delivery timelines.
