Position Overview
Join Walmart Canada as an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate to develop valuable skills in a busy retail setting. This role involves picking, packing, and preparing customer orders with precision, focusing on quality and customer satisfaction while adhering to safety and food hygiene standards. Your efforts directly contribute to a smooth online shopping process that builds customer trust and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully select and assemble customer orders from various temperature zones to ensure timely delivery.
- Confirm accuracy of items, quantities, and product codes while packing orders securely.
- Choose only fresh, high-quality products and remove any damaged or unsuitable items.
- Accurately complete all required documentation such as pick slips and shipping labels.
- Efficiently pack totes to maximize space while maintaining quality and safety.
- Provide helpful customer interactions and assist in resolving issues during order fulfillment.
- Follow food hygiene, safety procedures, and maintain cleanliness in the work area, including cleaning spills and ensuring totes are sanitized before use.
- Safely operate equipment and perform routine safety checks.
- Remain flexible with shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Challenges to Anticipate
- Manage a high volume of tasks in a fast-moving environment, maintaining focus and energy during overnight shifts.
- Complete large restocking and recovery workloads promptly and accurately.
- Perform physical duties such as standing for long hours, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Carry out repetitive duties like stocking and organizing with precision to uphold store standards.

Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.50.

- Must be at least 16 years of age.
