Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and assemble orders from different temperature zones, focusing on quality and timely delivery.
• Carefully pack orders, distinguishing between similar products, ensuring correct quantities and accurate product codes.
• Select only the highest quality products, avoiding damaged items and prioritizing freshness.
• Precisely document and label orders by interpreting pick slips, packaging instructions, and shipping labels.
• Maximize space efficiency when packing totes without compromising product quality.
• Balance order fulfillment duties with customer engagement, assisting with issues until resolved.
• Strictly follow safety protocols and food hygiene standards, maintain cleanliness of the workspace, promptly clean spills, and ensure totes are debris-free before packing.
• Operate material handling equipment safely, conducting required pre-inspection checks.
• Embody Walmart's mission and core values through workplace behavior.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements by recommending operational, productivity, safety, and quality enhancements.
• Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to work assignments and meet delivery schedules based on customer needs.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.00.
