About the role

Park Paving Ltd. is a long-established, locally owned and operated company with more than 50 years in business, recognized as one of Edmonton’s largest road construction contractors. The company operates a substantial fleet of heavy machinery and vehicles and is hiring an Oil & Lube Service Field Technician to support field operations.

What you’ll do

  • Operate a 2-ton service and lube truck in the field.
  • Carry out oil changes, filter replacements, grease equipment, and check fluid levels on-site.
  • Replace wear components and complete minor mechanical fixes as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work in the company’s asset management system.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s licence or a higher class.
  • Be able to operate a vehicle with standard transmission.
  • Bring proven experience as a lube or service technician, or an equivalent mix of education and hands-on experience.
  • Have prior experience with scheduled maintenance for construction equipment and trucks.
  • Work well without close supervision and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Be comfortable working outdoors in changing weather and conditions.
  • Have a driving record without major infractions.
  • Be willing to complete a medical and fitness examination as part of the hiring process.

Schedule and work setting

  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Monday to Friday schedule.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Weekend work may be needed.
  • On-site work in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
  • Candidates should already be able to commute to Sherwood Park or be prepared to relocate before starting.
