Officer - Loss Prevention

About the Role

This position sits within the Loss Prevention & Security function at The Luxury Collection in Diriyah, Riyadh. The role is a full-time, non-management position focused on keeping guests, employees, property, and company assets safe while supporting a smooth and welcoming hotel experience.

Position Summary

You will be responsible for patrolling the property, monitoring security systems, and responding quickly to incidents and emergencies. The role also involves documenting security events, supporting investigations, and helping maintain a secure and orderly environment across the hotel.

Key Duties

• Make regular rounds across the property and help guests access rooms when needed.
• Watch CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire/life-safety systems.
• Secure entrances when required and carry out daily physical hazard checks.
• Respond to accidents, emergencies, disturbances, thefts, and vehicle-related incidents.
• Contact emergency services, provide first aid/CPR if required, and support guests or employees during urgent situations.
• Escalate incidents to the appropriate people and use the correct code responses when calling for assistance.
• Prepare incident reports, loss prevention shift summaries, and daily activity reports.
• Resolve safety hazards, remove unauthorized individuals from the property, and handle interruptions or complaints professionally.
• Keep security records confidential and share information only with authorized personnel.
• Support investigations by collecting evidence and interviewing relevant individuals.

Working Standards and Physical Requirements

The role requires strict adherence to company policies, safety procedures, training requirements, and brand standards. You will be expected to present a neat, professional appearance, communicate clearly, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively with others.

Physical demands include standing, sitting, or walking for long periods, moving quickly when situations require it, reading information in different formats, operating computers or POS systems, and handling equipment or objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and more than 75 pounds with assistance. The job may also require bending, lifting, reaching, crouching, and moving through narrow, uneven, slippery, or elevated areas.
