Role Overview
This finance position focuses on handling accounts payable activities with accuracy, speed, and control. The role requires close coordination with vendors and internal teams, support during month-end closure, and collaboration with tax functions on relevant reconciliations and data sharing.
Core Responsibilities
- Process and post invoices accurately and on time for both purchase-order and non-purchase-order transactions.
- Review supplier ledgers, confirm balances, manage reclassifications, and resolve clearing and ageing items.
- Track and control GRIR and payable general ledger accounts.
- Monitor advances paid and prepaid expenses, including the automated prepaid expense process.
- Prepare schedules for vendor and expense-related ledgers.
- Respond promptly to vendor queries and internal customer requests.
- Support month-end closing activities and related preparations.
- Provide income tax assessment information to the direct tax team for AP and expense GL items.
- Support the indirect tax team with GST reconciliation follow-ups and input-tax-credit claim processing.
Education and Experience
The preferred qualification is BMS (Finance) or B.Com. Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
Skills Needed
Strong working knowledge of Excel and SAP is expected for this position.
