Job description
About the Role
This role is based at Bhagalpur Cement Works in Bihar and involves overseeing various facets of contract labour management and statutory compliance within industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely compliance with contract labour regulations, the Factories Act, and maintain MIS and reports accordingly.
- Manage statutory obligations including timely disbursement of wages, bonuses, Provident Fund (PF), ESIC, and gratuity payments.
- Maintain effective liaison with contractors and supervisors to facilitate smooth execution of work.
- Possess strong knowledge of settlement processes and perform Hindi drafting support.
- Maintain rigorous safety and quality standards while managing costs efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to all legal and statutory compliance requirements.
- Conduct training needs analysis, develop training plans, organize and implement training sessions within allocated budgets, and evaluate their outcomes.
- Implement and supervise Poornata modules such as recruitment, workforce attendance (WFA), and position management.
- Manage communication, reward, and recognition programs for manufacturing staff to sustain employee motivation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum qualification: MSW or MBA.
- Experience required: 5 to 7 years in related roles.
- Essential skills: strong liaison and communication abilities, proficiency in data analysis and drafting (especially in Hindi).
