Job description

Role Overview

This position involves contributing to the steady growth and development of the asset management sector, enhancing Singapore's standing as a premier global hub for fund management and domiciliation services. The role entails monitoring emerging global trends within the industry to identify growth prospects, including strengthening frameworks like the Singapore Variable Capital Company (VCC), leading strategic projects, and fortifying the capabilities of the funds ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

The officer will assist in administering tax incentives and grants, support the operational management and optimization of a portal system under development, and maintain close collaboration with industry stakeholders. Duties include reviewing tax incentive and grant applications, assessing key performance indicators, and managing exception cases, requiring effective communication and analytical skills. Prior experience in asset management is advantageous but not mandatory.

Candidate Profile

  • No prior professional experience necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative team orientation.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous in work approach.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities within a fast-evolving environment and responding flexibly to dynamic stakeholder requirements.

Additional Information
