Role Summary

As an Office Manager at Floor Coverings International, you will be instrumental in the local franchise's expansion by managing estimates, coordinating project schedules, supporting marketing initiatives, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain strong customer relationships through excellent service.
• Schedule and coordinate sales appointments efficiently.
• Follow up on open proposals to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in planning and executing local marketing campaigns, including participating in home shows and events (with possible paid weekend work).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
• Manage financial records by updating billing and expenses in QuickBooks (training available).
• Generate job cost reports and ensure timely payment of business expenses.
• Attend weekly sales meetings to review projects and manage production orders.
• Order necessary products accurately and schedule deliveries for upcoming projects.
• Coordinate installation schedules and communicate updates to customers.
• Keep job tracking software current with daily updates on project status and scheduling.
• Participate in ongoing training and meetings to meet team goals and uphold company values.
• Make independent decisions aligned with Floor Coverings International's mission.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills across in-person, phone, and text platforms.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
• Previous office or sales experience preferred (1-3 years), but not required.
• Experience with QuickBooks or general bookkeeping preferred; training provided.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound business judgment.

Compensation

Salary range is $28,000 to $32,000 annually.
