About the Employer
The Saddleback Valley Unified School District (SVUSD), situated in South Orange County, California, serves approximately 23,000 students from preschool through adult education across 33 school sites.
Position Overview
This role is a journey-level office manager position providing broad administrative and secretarial assistance to the principal at Santiago Elementary School. The successful candidate will manage daily office functions, coordinate tasks among classified staff, and help maintain smooth school operations including policy support, budget assistance, record management, and communication facilitation.
Work Schedule and Salary
- Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Length of work year: 10.5 months.
- Pay range: $27.56 to $35.10 per hour, with external hires starting between Steps A-C depending on verified experience.
