Job description
About the role
Marfa Stance is looking for a resourceful and highly organised Office & Administrative Assistant to support a busy and expanding team in London. This is a practical, varied position that works closely with the Executive Assistant and also helps the wider business with day-to-day operations, office coordination, and brand-related activities.
The role is based in London and requires five days a week in the office, with standard hours of 9:00am to 6:00pm. It suits someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, can juggle competing priorities, and is comfortable taking initiative in a fast-moving environment.
Marfa Stance is a British luxury outerwear label established in 2019 by designer Georgia Dant. The brand is known for modular, reversible, sustainably made garments produced in Italy, with a design philosophy influenced by Donald Judd and Marfa, Texas. Its focus is on functional, seasonless clothing made to last.
Key responsibilities
You will support the Executive Assistant with routine administration such as organising travel, managing diaries and schedules, and handling other day-to-day requests. When the EA is away, you will step in to help maintain support for the CEO and founder.
In addition to executive support, you will help keep the office operating efficiently by monitoring supplies, arranging maintenance, and maintaining an orderly workspace. You will also assist with the setup and relocation of a new office space.
The position extends beyond office administration and includes broader team support, involvement in special projects, and ad hoc operational tasks. When required, you may also help coordinate brand-facing activities such as photoshoots, events, and trunk shows.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-organised, and confident handling multiple tasks at once. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a helpful and professional manner, are important for success in this role.
A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn are essential. Prior administrative experience is useful but not mandatory. An interest in fashion, luxury, or creative businesses would be an added advantage.
Working arrangement
This is an onsite role in London with a five-day office schedule. Working hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm.
