Role Summary
This contract role is for an execution-focused OCM Communications Specialist supporting a major SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative. It is centered on delivering practical, high-quality communications that improve awareness, clarity, and adoption across the program. This is not a senior change leadership position.
The role is part of the messaging and communications stream and involves planning, drafting, and distributing program communications for different audiences across several channels.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and carry out the communications plan for the SAP transformation in step with program milestones.
- Draft audience-specific messaging for both business and technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Develop communication assets such as newsletters, program status updates, FAQs, knowledge articles, executive briefings, stakeholder toolkits, internal announcements, and change communications.
- Coordinate message distribution through enterprise platforms including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and email systems.
- Help maintain regular stakeholder engagement through planned communication rhythms.
- Monitor how well communications are landing and how adoption is progressing, then share updates and reports with the program team.
- Keep messaging aligned across workstreams and geographic regions.
Required Experience and Skills
- Practical experience supporting communications for a large SAP or ERP implementation, ideally SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong ability to write and edit corporate communications for internal audiences.
- Experience using enterprise communication tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook or similar email distribution tools.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving transformation environment focused on delivery.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle several communication streams at once.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prosci change management certification or familiarity with the ADKAR framework is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Background in global or multi-region transformation programs is preferred.
- Experience working in structured OCM environments would be advantageous.
Additional Information
This role is designed for hands-on communications execution within a large-scale transformation program. The focus is on consistent stakeholder messaging and support for adoption efforts rather than OCM strategy leadership.
