About the Role and Company
Tecnicas Reunidas Saudi Arabia is seeking an Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Lead to join their team based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This position is available exclusively to Saudi nationals to comply with Saudization policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- Certifications in Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems from recognized organizations aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and NEBOSH standards.
- At least 5 years of practical experience implementing HSE Management Systems as per ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Experience in engineering and construction company environments is essential.
- Mandatory completion of Saudi Aramco's General Engineering Services Plus (GES+) Program.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute the Corporate HSE Management System and occupational health and safety initiatives at TR KSA offices to meet organizational strategy, Group standards, ISO 45001/14001, ADNOC criteria, and local regulations.
- Ensure proper creation, maintenance, control, traceability, and preservation of all documented information required by the HSE Management System within TR KSA offices.
- Track and report HSE objectives, targets, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics, driving continuous improvements.
- Identify and oversee compliance with applicable HSE legislation and regulations including ARAMCO and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia requirements.
- Prepare the annual Management Review Report consolidating data on performance, objectives, initiatives, incidents, audits, and improvements.
- Support and coordinate internal and external audits relating to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ARAMCO standards, facilitating effective closure of findings and action plans.
- Manage occupational health and safety activities such as training, medical surveillance, prevention programs, emergency preparedness, evacuation planning, and maintenance of emergency equipment including fire extinguishers and office safety systems per company standards.
- Conduct periodic inspections within TR KSA offices to verify compliance with ISO standards.
- Analyze HSE data, audit outcomes, incidents, non-conformities, and improvement areas to implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with HR, General Services, and support teams to monitor environmental factors like waste management, energy and paper consumption, and other ecological performance indicators.
- Advocate for heightened HSE awareness and nurture a culture of continuous improvement through communication, training, and participative activities.
- Promote wellbeing initiatives throughout KSA offices.
- Recommend strategies to simplify and optimize HSE processes to enhance organizational efficiency and resource use.
