About the Role
We are seeking nursing professionals to join the East Tamaki branch in Auckland as either Occupational Health Nurse or Senior Occupational Health Nurse. In these roles, you will provide comprehensive occupational health services across a variety of client industries. Your expertise in nursing assessment, clinical judgment, and effective communication will help foster safe and productive workplaces. The position offers exposure to diverse areas including social rehabilitation, concussion services, and vocational rehabilitation contracts.
This is a full-time position with some flexibility and occasional extended hours beyond normal office times. Due to job nature, regional travel throughout Auckland is required.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform clinical occupational health assessments and provide clear, constructive feedback to clients
- Maintain precise documentation and ensure reports are submitted promptly
- Effectively manage equipment, appointment scheduling, and patient systems
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners
- Promote Habit Health’s services and proactively identify opportunities to support both new and current customers

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Current Registered Nurse holding a valid New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
- For senior roles, at least five years of occupational health nursing experience
- Confident and articulate communicator with strong presentation abilities, comfortable leading health education sessions both in-person and online
- Willing and able to travel across Auckland as job duties demand
- Professional, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with relevant legislation such as Privacy, Health & Safety, and health information regulations
- Proficient with clinical systems and digital technologies
- Possession of a valid New Zealand driver’s license
