About The Role
The Mind Project is looking for a compassionate and evidence-driven Nutrition Consultant to join their multidisciplinary team focused on integrative mental health and wellness. This role emphasizes the connection between nutrition, mental well-being, and lifestyle for comprehensive health support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments considering clients' eating habits, lifestyle choices, medical background, and personal wellness objectives.
- Develop tailored care plans based on scientific evidence that promote cognitive clarity, mood stability, metabolic function, and stress resilience.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and wellness coaches to deliver holistic client care.
- Provide ongoing education and practical guidance to clients that encourage sustainable healthy habits without reliance on restrictive diets.
- Utilize a digital teleconsultation platform to conduct engaging and effective video consultations.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses formal qualifications in Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, or related fields such as B.Sc/M.Sc in Nutrition or Registered Dietitian certification.
- Demonstrates a solid scientific understanding of nutritional psychiatry, gut-brain communication, and metabolic health.
- Exhibits empathetic communication, active listening, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients' food choices and body image.
- Is proficient with digital technologies for managing online consultations and client scheduling.
- Enjoys working collaboratively with other mental health professionals to foster integrated wellness care.
