Overview of Emirates British Nursery
Emirates British Nursery (EBN) integrates the Early Years Foundation Stage framework aligned with the British National Curriculum. It prioritizes delivering a diverse and balanced curriculum to help children develop a robust foundation of knowledge and skills for their lifelong growth. EBN is a subsidiary of GMG, recognized as a leading nursery in Dubai providing quality early childhood education since 2000.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage with all children to ensure their safety and promote their physical, emotional, and educational growth.
- Implement structured educational activities and learning programs while fostering independent learning among children.
- Maintain a high-quality standard of care and teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Promote inclusivity by encouraging acceptance and adapting activities to meet diverse student needs.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document individual children’s progress using the Learning and Development Profile Book.
- Take responsibility for children’s welfare, health, safety, and security within the nursery environment.
- Participate in assessments and prepare reports concerning children's work and developmental milestones.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management as needed.
Qualifications and Candidate Profile
- Holders of a university degree in Early Childhood Education or related fields complemented by a certified vocational qualification (Level III) in early childhood care and education.
- Candidates with a high school diploma must have a certified vocational qualification (Cache Level 3) in early childhood care and education coupled with a minimum of two years experience in child care or education.
- Fluency in English at a native level is mandatory.
- Preferred candidates are those currently residing in Dubai or intending to relocate to Dubai irrespective of immediate employment opportunities.
