Role overview
Partou Tiny Teapots Day Nursery & Pre-school in Harrogate, North Yorkshire is hiring a full-time, permanent Nursery Room Leader. The position offers 40 hours per week and pays £15.16 per hour, along with a £5,000 welcome bonus.
This opportunity is for a Level 3 Early Years qualified practitioner who can oversee the day-to-day running of a room, keep children engaged in purposeful activities that support learning and development, and ensure practice aligns with the EYFS framework. The role also involves guiding and motivating the team, maintaining a secure and welcoming environment, and building positive relationships with families and colleagues.
What you will do
- Take responsibility for the daily operation of a nursery room.
- Plan and support activities that promote children’s learning and development in line with EYFS.
- Lead, encourage, and support your team in delivering high-quality early years care.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing setting for children.
- Work closely with families and childcare colleagues to strengthen partnerships around each child.

About you
To be considered, you should hold at least a Level 3 Early Years qualification, have a strong understanding of EYFS, and bring proven experience of leading a team in an early years environment. You should also be enthusiastic about early years education, confident in supporting children’s learning, and committed to safeguarding and ongoing professional development.
Additional information
