Overview
Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Torquay, part of Grandir UK, is seeking a devoted and energetic Nursery Assistant to join their team. This role involves supporting children’s care and development within a nurturing and child-focused environment, fostering curiosity and helping every child grow and flourish each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure constant supervision and care of children at all times.
- Assist in preparing and conducting activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified colleagues.
- Help maintain a welcoming and stimulating environment conducive to learning and play.
- Comply fully with all organizational policies, procedures, and operational practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards children, parents, visitors, and fellow staff.
- Participate regularly in staff meetings, planning sessions, and ongoing training to enhance professional skills.
Requirements

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from qualified practitioners.

Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage up to £12.71, translating to a full-time equivalent of £26,436 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, with frequent salary reviews.
