Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of participants’ strengths and situations, applying DSM-5 criteria for clinical diagnoses as needed.
• Develop and revise individualized service plans collaboratively with clients and supervisors per program standards.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions individually, with families, or groups in varied settings including homes, offices, community sites, or via telehealth.
• Manage case coordination and connect clients with additional community resources and services when required.
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary meetings and provide mental health consultation to team members and external agencies.
• Participate in community outreach, events, and collaboration to enhance service impact.
• Maintain thorough and timely case documentation in compliance with program and billing standards.
• Create discharge and aftercare plans ensuring continuity of services upon program completion.
• Respond to crisis situations providing clinical management contingent on program parameters.
• Report suspected abuse or neglect according to legal requirements.
• Adhere to regulatory protocols, prepare for site visits, and facilitate clinical training sessions as applicable.
• Supervise interns and provide transportation for clients as necessary.
• Attend regular clinical supervision sessions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related clinical field is required.
• Eligible for Illinois clinical licensure (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) with commitment to obtain licensure within 36 months.
• Experience in evidence-based or trauma-informed treatment methods such as Theraplay or the ARC framework is preferred.
• Obtain and maintain relevant program certifications like Child Parent Psychotherapy or Nurturing Parent Program within one year.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle is mandatory.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range between $58,000 and $59,000 annually, with potential increases for bilingual candidates and based on experience and qualifications.
