Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position in Imphal East supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of nonprofit programs and initiatives. The role is hands-on and combines operations, outreach, fundraising support, documentation, research, and training assistance. The selected person will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep programs aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives.
Key Work Areas
- Help organize the daily functioning of nonprofit activities and program operations.
- Support event planning, workshops, community outreach efforts, and field activities.
- Assist with fundraising work, including donor communication, grant-related support, and campaign coordination.
- Maintain constructive relationships with donors, community partners, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare progress updates, reports, and other documentation needed for program tracking.
- Carry out research to inform program planning, design, evaluation, and proposal development.
- Support training and facilitation sessions for staff, volunteers, and community participants.
- Draft communication and program materials as required.
- Keep records accurate and organized for internal use and reporting.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure activities stay aligned with the foundation’s goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Clear and effective communication for working with donors, partners, community members, and internal teams.
- Practical experience in planning and coordinating events, workshops, outreach programs, or similar initiatives.
- Ability to research topics that support program development, impact review, and proposal creation.
- Exposure to fundraising tasks such as donor outreach, grant support, or campaign handling.
- Comfort with training support, facilitation, and capacity-building activities.
- Background in nonprofit management, community development, social work, or a related area.
- Strong planning, organization, time management, and follow-through skills.
- Willingness to work on-site in Imphal East and collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public administration, nonprofit management, or a similar field is preferred.
- Basic ability to use office tools for reports, presentations, and routine documentation.
