Non-Finished Product Warehouse Specialist

Position Overview

Twyford International seeks to fill the role of Non-Finished Product Warehouse Specialist based in Mkuranga, Pwani Region, Tanzania. This position entails overseeing and managing work-in-progress materials within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy in inventory records, safe storage practices, timely material issuance, and effective collaboration with production teams.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate alignment between inventory accounts and actual stock levels in designated areas.
• Ensure safety protocols in the storage environment are adhered to, preventing hazards such as improper glass storage angles.
• Oversee picking and dispatch operations, verifying forklift operators select correct materials from appropriate locations.
• Confirm that incoming glass materials are correctly stored and inspect for damages during handling processes.
• Keep the assigned warehouse zone orderly and clean to promote efficient operations.
• Implement and monitor FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory principles wherever applicable.
• Conduct investigations and generate reports concerning discrepancies, damages, or losses related to inventory.

Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 12 to 24 months of practical experience in warehouse management or inventory control within the manufacturing sector.
• Familiarity with inventory management procedures and warehouse management software solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking, well-developed organizational capabilities, and effective communication skills.
