Role Overview

As a TPM Operator based in Zanesville, OH, you will be central to the safe and efficient sorting and movement of pallets inside the facility. This role combines manual pallet sorting, forklift operation, debris removal, and routine equipment checks. Your efforts will contribute directly to maintaining smooth operations and safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Night shift hours: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM
• Pay rate: $18.65 per hour, with convenient weekly direct deposit

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manually sort pallets as they move from loading docks to the appropriate sorting area
• Clear pallets of debris and trash while assessing their quality
• Operate a forklift to transport pallets, containers, and materials safely through the facility, ensuring proper load placement and stability
• Conduct pre-operation forklift inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks or containers using the forklift, ensuring security and safety of loads
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment daily
• Report any workplace safety concerns to supervisors immediately

Candidate Qualifications

• Previous experience in an industrial or warehouse setting involving forklift operation and material handling
• Valid forklift operator certification/license is preferred
• Strong knowledge of safety standards pertaining to forklift use
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including lifting up to 75 lbs; pushing and pulling up to 31 lbs/feet
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Capable of timely task completion with keen attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fluctuating environment

Work Environment

• Work takes place primarily in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
• Requires standing for long durations and handling physical tasks
• Potential exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required for safety

Language Skills

• English fluency is essential
• Spanish language skills are desirable but not mandatory
