Key duties
- Assume responsibility for the safety and security of the hotel and everyone in it throughout the night shift.
- Greet late arrivals in a professional and friendly manner and support them with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Respond promptly to guest needs, including carrying luggage and providing concierge-style assistance.

- Prepare function rooms and the breakfast area according to the overnight checklist.
- Make sure the hotel entrance and outside areas remain neat and welcoming at all times.
- Stay trained and ready to follow fire safety and emergency response procedures.

- Follow all confidentiality and data protection requirements.
- Escalate any hazards, near misses, or incidents without delay.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will have prior experience in hospitality or facilities-related work. A minimum of 1 to 2 years in a receptionist role, or a similar position within a busy hotel setting, is preferred.
Strong computer skills are important, along with confidence using booking systems. You should also bring excellent communication, customer service, and organisational abilities, plus a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail. The role requires someone who can work on their own while still following company processes and standards.

- Access to reduced rates across hotels, spas, leisure facilities, and restaurants within the employer group.
- A professional and encouraging team culture where your contribution is recognised.
