About The Role
The Night Porter is responsible for ensuring the security of the hotel overnight, performing regular fire and security checks, and attending to guest needs to maintain high standards of customer care. This role also involves check-in and check-out procedures, assisting guests with luggage and other requests, and maintaining cleanliness in various hotel areas including the lobby, public spaces, and meeting rooms. The Night Porter may also assist with Conference & Banqueting set-up and perform administrative tasks such as printing reports and filing guest registration cards and dockets.
Requirements
- Prior experience in hospitality or a similar role is beneficial.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with guests and colleagues.
- A strong commitment to providing a high level of customer service.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
