About the Role
Join the prestigious Sheraton Athlone Hotel, part of the Hodson Bay Group, as a valued member of our Night Team. The Night Porter is a crucial position that ensures the hotel's smooth operations during overnight hours, from 11pm to 7am. This role requires a customer-focused individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and previous experience in bar services is a welcomed advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform the Night Audit accurately to maintain operational integrity.
- Prepare and set up meeting rooms as needed.
- Deliver outstanding Food & Beverage services to guests throughout the shift.
- Maintain cleanliness standards within the hotel common areas.
- Adhere strictly to Health & Safety protocols to provide a secure environment for guests and residents.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong proficiency in IT skills and excellent spoken English communication.
- Familiarity with Micros or Opera Front Office software is beneficial; however, full training will be provided.
- Prior experience working in bar services considered a plus.
