Role overview
Dalata Hotel Group is looking for a Night Porter to support overnight hotel operations in Dublin. The role comes with training through Dalata Academy, guidance from experienced colleagues, and the chance to build a long-term career in a company that values internal progression.

Key duties
- Handle guest arrivals and departures as needed, and help with luggage and porterage requests.
- Keep key hotel areas clean, including the lobby, back office, stairways, restaurant and bar floors, public spaces, staff areas, and meeting room floors.
- Carry out other cleaning tasks assigned by the manager on duty and follow the nightly checklist, which may involve preparing function rooms, the breakfast area, and similar spaces.
- Look after the hotel’s front entrance and exterior so they remain neat and presentable, including bin emptying and litter removal.
- Understand and follow the property’s fire procedures to help protect the safety of guests and staff.
- Assist with setting up meeting rooms.
Candidate profile
- Previous experience dealing with customers is required.
- Strong spoken English is important.
- You should be well organised and able to stay on top of tasks.
- The role suits someone who can work effectively in a busy setting.
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to support the wider team are essential.
