Night Porter

Role Overview

The Night Porter serves a pivotal role in managing the hotel operations during nighttime hours, ensuring guest satisfaction and brand standards are upheld. This position specifically oversees the Food & Beverage department overnight, greets guests warmly, maintains cleanliness of public spaces, prepares meeting and event rooms for the following day, assists with luggage, responds to guest inquiries, and conducts nightly Health and Safety inspections.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Food & Beverage department during the night shift.
• Welcome and assist guests with a friendly and professional approach.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness in public areas.
• Prepare meeting and event spaces for next day usage.
• Help guests with luggage and handle inquiries promptly.
• Perform Health and Safety audits each night.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial.
• Essential experience working night shifts.
• Strong organizational abilities and effective communication skills.

Working Patterns

Operations run continuously throughout the year, including every day of the week. The schedule allows for flexible shifts and contracted hours, with higher guest activity typically during evenings and weekends. Shift arrangements will be discussed during the interview process.

Career Progression and Training
