Role overview
Accor is seeking a lively and engaging Night Mixologist to work at Clarkes Bar in Rotorua. This role is focused on more than preparing drinks; it is about shaping memorable evenings through attentive service, a welcoming presence, and a strong sense of hospitality.
You will help create an atmosphere where guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and valued while enjoying their time at the bar.
What you will do
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks with precision, style, and care.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, personalised, and memorable way.
- Help maintain a lively and inviting evening ambience.
- Work with the team to keep the bar fully stocked, orderly, and service-ready.
- Ensure the bar area is clean, well-presented, and maintained to a high standard.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to support smooth guest service across the property.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who enjoys building connections with people, takes pride in excellent service, and brings energy and positivity to evening shifts. Prior bar experience is welcome, but a strong interest in hospitality, a willingness to learn, and the right attitude are the most important factors.
Qualifications and experience
- Guest-focused personality with excellent presentation.
- Interest in creating a polished yet lively night-time environment.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to solve problems effectively.
- LCQ certification is advantageous, though not required.
