Role overview
An independent pharmacy group in Edinburgh is seeking a qualified pharmacist, including someone newly qualified, to strengthen Pharmacy First support and help improve the standard of care and services delivered to the local community.
What the role involves
- Provide guidance to customers on health-related concerns.
- Prepare and dispense medicines accurately.
- Contribute to improving the quality of pharmacy services.
- Support health promotion and advocacy within the community.
What the employer is looking for
The ideal candidate is focused on patient care and motivated to expand both the reach and quality of local service delivery. Candidates who already hold an independent prescribing qualification are welcome, and pharmacists who want to work toward the IP qualification will also be considered, with full support provided for that route. Tier 2 applications are supported.
Qualifications
A GPhC qualification, or an equivalent pharmacy registration/qualification, is required.

Salary and package
The salary offered is £50,000 to £60,000 plus a package.
