Newly Qualified Electrician

Overview

Energen Power is looking for a recently certified electrician to join their team working on active data centre commissioning projects in Sweden. This role is full-time and based on-site, allowing the successful candidate to gain practical experience on some of Europe's largest and most advanced data centre developments. Working closely with skilled electricians and supervisors, this position offers an excellent pathway for career growth in a rapidly expanding industry by focusing on electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation tasks following drawings, specifications, and approved method statements.
• Take charge of testing and commissioning back-up generators within the data centre facility.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), permits, and site safety rules at all times.
• Provide daily updates on installation and commissioning progress to the General Contractor.
• Ensure completion of tasks to high-quality standards and within the project schedule.
• Promptly report any problems, defects, or delays to management personnel.
• Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work environment.
• Accurately complete documentation and quality records as required.
• Coordinate with various trades and disciplines on site to achieve effective project delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be a newly qualified electrician.
• Basic knowledge of electrical installation techniques and safety protocols.
• Ability to interpret and understand electrical drawings.
• Reliable, safety-aware, and demonstrates a positive attitude.
• Basic proficiency in English.
• Prior experience in data centre, industrial, or commercial sites is beneficial but not mandatory.
