Job description
About Pinch
Pinch is an early-stage company creating a premium at-home aesthetics experience. The brand connects clients with Board-Certified Nurse Practitioners who deliver care at home, at the office, or wherever is most convenient. The goal is to remove the hassle of traditional appointments and make expert care fit into a busy schedule.
Pinch is designed for driven women with demanding careers and little spare time. Its clients are high-performing professionals who value convenience, and its providers are Board-Certified Nurse Practitioners building independent practices on their own terms. The company exists to make modern life feel a little more manageable by respecting the value of time.
The Role
This position is responsible for taking Pinch into new states and establishing the brand in emerging markets. You will spend time in launch cities before entry, learn the local landscape, connect with the right people, and help create the kind of presence that makes a market eager for Pinch.
You will own market activation from start to finish. That includes finding the right connectors, planning memorable events, and generating local buzz that helps turn a new city into a strong-performing market.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving, start-from-zero environments, knows how to create standout events on a tight budget, and can quickly build trust and referrals in unfamiliar rooms.
What You Will Do
- Lead new-market launches from planning through execution, using the launch playbook to bring new states online.
- Create and run launch events that build awareness and generate early bookings, often with limited budgets and short timelines.
- Manage the entire event process, including idea development, logistics, on-site execution, and follow-up that supports conversion into bookings.
- Represent Pinch in each new city by meeting with local media, community groups, professional networks, and trusted local connectors.
- Build relationships with brands, communities, and Pinch providers to strengthen local presence and trust.
What We Are Looking For
- High self-motivation and enthusiasm for excellent work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong interest in the beauty, wellness, and aesthetics industry, along with familiarity with brands that succeed in that space.
- Comfort building new relationships across brands, communities, and provider networks.
- At least 4 years of experience in events, brand marketing, community building, or field-based business development, preferably in wellness, hospitality, or consumer lifestyle.
- Experience delivering high-impact events with limited resources.
- Strong problem-solving ability and the confidence to adapt quickly when plans change.
- Good judgment for brand fit, including the ability to identify what feels aligned with Pinch and to push back when needed.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work through ambiguity, including travel on short notice.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with a warm, memorable approach and consistent follow-up.
- Ability to travel twice per month.
Benefits
- Full-time role.
- Compensation includes salary plus equity.
- Work arrangement includes being in Evanston, IL three times per week.
- The role reports to the Head of Marketing.
