Job description

Role Overview

ORS Group is seeking a newly qualified Speech Pathologist who wants to build a career while contributing to meaningful community outcomes. The organisation is a large, rapidly expanding, family-owned national provider of allied health and workplace rehabilitation services across Australia, with a strong focus on supporting people under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The role is designed for a new graduate to develop professionally while helping people with disabilities work toward their personal goals through tailored speech therapy.

About the Team and Service Scope

You will join a nationwide team of more than 40 Speech Pathologists delivering clinical support to participants from 0 to 65 years old. The caseload spans early intervention, school-age, adolescent, and adult services, and includes clients with a wide range of presentations, diagnoses, and disability types. Service delivery may take place in family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community environments, via telehealth, and in ORS offices.

Learning and Support

This position sits within the organisation’s national multidisciplinary new graduate program and includes guidance from an experienced Speech Pathologist. It is intended as a development opportunity where you can strengthen your clinical capability while contributing to real change in the lives of clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out client assessments and create therapy plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide high-quality speech pathology interventions and therapy support.
  • Work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to support coordinated care.
  • Take part in supervision sessions and ongoing professional learning.
  • Keep clear and accurate records, reports, and other required documentation.

What the Role Offers

  • Parental leave support designed to be family friendly.
  • Five weeks of annual leave after completing three years of service.
  • Access to multidisciplinary training, leadership development, and clinical learning led by industry and subject-matter experts, including special interest groups.
  • Structured supervision, a competency-based program, and mentoring from experienced speech pathologists.
  • Flexible working options, including the ability to work from home, a 9-day fortnight, control over your calendar, and efforts to place your caseload near your home and office.
  • A supportive, inclusive, innovative, and fun culture where employees are encouraged to contribute and are recognised for their passion.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A relevant qualification in Speech Pathology.
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Strong interest in supporting people with disabilities.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver’s licence and access to a car.
  • National Police Clearance, Working With Children or Working with Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

Equal Opportunity

ORS Group is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity. The organisation is committed to providing an inclusive workplace for all employees.
