About the Role

Qscan Group is inviting applications for a new graduate radiographer to join its Brisbane South network. The role sits within a large diagnostic imaging group that includes Qscan Radiology Clinics, South East Radiology, North Coast Radiology, Alpenglow Radiology, Envision Medical Imaging and Clin Rad, delivering medical imaging services across Australia.

This graduate pathway is built to help you move from university into clinical practice with confidence. You will receive structured training, guided clinical experience and ongoing professional support while building a foundation for a long-term career in medical imaging. Opportunities may also be available across the wider national clinic network for graduates who want to stay near home or explore other parts of Australia.

Key Responsibilities

As a graduate radiographer, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging while continuing to build clinical confidence and technical capability.

  • Carry out general radiography exams and begin developing competence in CT imaging
  • Provide patient-focused care with professionalism, empathy and kindness
  • Maintain strong standards in image quality and radiation safety
  • Review imaging requests and complete examinations in line with clinical protocols and legislation
  • Work closely with radiologists, clinicians and support staff
  • Take part in education, training and quality improvement activities
  • Strengthen clinical judgement, communication and patient management skills

Location Options

Graduate openings are available across the South Brisbane region, with rotation exposure to other clinics in the area. Preferred locations should be mentioned in the application.

Who Should Apply

This program suits applicants who are either completing, or expect to complete in 2026, a Bachelor of Medical Imaging or an equivalent qualification. You must have, or be eligible for, AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner and a Radiation Use Licence. Full Australian working rights are required.

Recruitment Timeline

The 2027 Graduate Radiographer Program will accept applications from 1 June 2026 to 30 June 2026. Shortlisted candidates are expected to be contacted during July 2026 for interviews with local hiring leaders and modality representatives. Successful applicants will start on 18 January 2027.
