Job description
Role Overview
We are urgently seeking a Network Test and Assurance Engineer for a contract position based in Sydney, Australia, with a duration of six months and potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Possess in-depth knowledge of firewall technologies including Cisco and FortiGate.
- Expertise with load balancing solutions such as F5 LTM and GTM.
- Strong understanding of proxy systems like IronPort and Zscaler.
- Solid network fundamentals equivalent to a CCNA certification, focusing on routing and switching.
- Experience analyzing configurations and validating network connectivity results.
- Capability to detect issues in network setups; diagnostic skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Cisco networking environments and some exposure to ACI at a review level.
- Attention to detail, evidence-based analysis approach, and strong written communication skills.
Additional Information
- Contract length is six months with the possibility of extension.
